Moscatelli , a company specialized in the design, construction and supply of solar panels , televisions and other products for campers, vans and mini vans, offers a 130W photovoltaic panel for Vans with sunroofs .

The differentiating element of this type of panel is that it is equipped with a lower layer of 16mm thick polycarbonate which acts both as an insulating element between the roof and cells , thus ensuring better heat dispersion, and as a structural feature of the panel itself since it allows its adaptability even to slightly curved surfaces .

The application of polycarbonate on the back of the panel allowed us to move the junction box to the back and thus gain space on the front, further reducing the size of the panel.

A family of solar panels designed to be applied on the roofs of small vehicles , especially those with pop-up roofs.

The complete kit is easy to assemble and consists of a 4 m cable directly connected to the panel and the pre-applied polycarbonate support .

Fitting one or more photovoltaic panels on your camper, van or mini van allows you to produce electricity thanks to an irreplaceable natural element: the sun. 3. How do you install a solar panel on the van?

Installing a solar panel on the roof of your camper or van is simple . First you need to buy a suitable glue or silicone that will be applied to the roof of your vehicle, in correspondence with the aluminum supports of the panel itself. Then you have to drill the roof , in order to get the cables to the batteries connected to the charge regulator , taking care to use the cable gland .
In this way, in fact, water infiltrations and possible unpleasant inconveniences are avoided.
